| Plant Nanny 8100 Clear Watering Globe Set |
| |
 |
|
| |
Product Description |
| Hand-blown glass watering globes are a simple solution to keeping your plants healthy. Most plants thrive with consistent watering. Since the stake remains in the soil the plant roots will actually grow around the stake and use water more efficiently. The water level is visible through the globe even at a distance, so you'll know exactly when to add water. Designed to water an average-sized plant, these can be used indoors or on a deck or porch. Each globe set contains a 5in Plant Nanny stake and a globe that holds approximately 12 ounces of water. |

Plant Nanny

| I love my plants but with a very hectic, irregular schedule I find that sometimes my plants get ignored... and then overwatered. I have had the plant nannies for 3 months now and LOVE them. They allow the plant to "drink" at it's own rate and are very easy for anyone in my household to refill without risk of overwatering/underwatering. I am ready to order four more for a few new plants I have acquired. Excellent!!!! |
from chartreuse to really green thumb

I'd like to think I have a green thumb, but in actuality it's more of a chartreuse. The half life of my plants has been embarrassingly brief. Generally they perish for lack of water.
This invaluable product has been a life saver. Unlike the similar product 'as see on TV' it's easy to fill and doesn't clog up. The clear globe is an attractive addition to the plant. It enhances the look IMO... a piece of functional art at the base of my plants. Watering has gone from a chore to amazingly a little fun, because the top glass globe is so easy to fill and replace and it feels good to nurture my organisms. The Plant Nanny is a great value - way cheaper then having to replace my plants a regular intervals. Monitoring the water level is extremely satisfying, as I perceive my plants imbibing the life-giving H2O in real-time, a testament to their flourishing state.
My dear plants would be dead without the Plant Nanny looking after them. |
This thing is great!

| I'm not too good with plants, but with this waterer I've had a lot more success. I tried one of those other all-glass globes which turned out to be a big mess. The other globe would sometimes completely empty into the plant within a few hours causing a flood on my table, but the Plant Nanny is much better since it has two separate parts; the part that inserts into the soil stays put while you fill the glass globe. No more floods. Its a perfect design and takes the headache out of watering my indoor plants. And it looks nice too. I'll be buying more of these. |

| These take care of maintaining proper moisture in plants, without guesswork. They are easy to check, and easy to fill (carry a large squeeze bottle of water around the house to check and fill, if necessary.) |
Great, but not for windy hanging plants

| Works great and looks beautiful. One caveat: The globe's stem does not extend very far into the spike. If you use them on hanging plants that sway in the wind over a hard surface (e.g. my front porch), be prepared for broken glass. I'll be switching to Add-a-Bottle Plant Nannies using plastic water bottles on the hanging plants. |
